Dirty Mind

Logline: Desire makes fools of us all.

Synopsis: Charles wants Lauren. Lauren wants Charles. The only problem is, the old lady downstairs wants Charles too. "Dirty mind" dissects eight minutes in the lives of three diverse Brooklynites. Lust, manipulation and unexpected cross-generational attraction hurdles our characters towards ridiculousness and a life changing decision. You never know what a fool you can be till life gives you the chance.

Katherine Lindberg (Director): An award winning short filmmaker, Lindberg’s first feature film, Rain, was produced by Martin Scorcese and has been seen at the Venice International Film Festival, Sundance, and the Stockholm International Film Festival. Katherine is currently in development on several feature film scripts and an HBO Series. She also teaches writing and directing at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.

Guy Shahar (Writer): Guy’s directing career began at age 8, when he choreographed and staged the neighborhood kids in his own version of West Side Story. Years later, as a graduate of the New York Film Academy and The New School, he served as writer/director/producer of over 25 short films for the prolific Group 101 (previously Quickflicks), and directed commercials for Ogilvy and Mather. His award winning work has appeared on television and in several dozen-film festivals worldwide. He currently works with Priority Films, where he writes, directs, and produces for film and television, and for whom he is slated to helm the feature comedy “Taking the Stand” in 2008.

--> Fotene Trigonis (Producer): Fotene woke up one morning in 2002 and decided to follow her passion and be in the film business. Has since produced/worked on over 20 film/tv projects, including co-producing The Naked Brothers Band movie that is now a hit show on Nickelodeon. She is currently working on two indie films and the short “Suicide is Inconsiderate” which she wrote and is producing.
